Yup, the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are making a comeback in January 2010
Get ready for the Nostalgia bombs to hit!

Old toys are being rereleased with a slight new look this upcoming holiday season. Then the new remastered version of the first 3 seasons (All 145 episodes) hit the airwaves the beginning of next year. (Hopefully following with box sets!)

This announcement has lead to the whole fan base freaking out and people are looking forward to it.
Thank you Disney! You're finally giving us what we wanted for the PR franchise!

As for me, I'm excited. Like, OMG EXCITED. And for soooo many reasons!
-Power Morphicon just got even better
-Next summer is going to rock for Rita/Zedd cosplay
-New generation of kids get to experience the pop culture giant I grew up with. More fans!
-It's going to bring a lot of people together
-Merchandise! And hopefully new stuff for the peeps around my age

But most importantly, the Power Rangers get to live on!


And on a side note: Okay, I know they have the newer ranger characters walking around Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, but I would find it extremely cool if the series got so popular again that mighty morphin rangers hero and villain characters get to walk around in Disneyland's tomorrowland. This would make me so happy!
